API base URL: copy

Get started

To hook up your web app/site to GIFsonic, you must update your images' URLs.

For instance, if you have:

<img src="https://media1.giphy.com/media/3og0IJD4VvwWc7ZepO/giphy.gif">

Change the URL to:

<img src="https://i.gifsonic.com/example/?src=https://media1.giphy.com/media/3og0IJD4VvwWc7ZepO/giphy.gif">

The above will cause your image to be processed via GIFsonic.

Although your image is now served via our CDN and will therefore load faster, that's not very exciting. To make it do things, you should add some parameters:

<img src="https://i.gifsonic.com/example/?src=https://media1.giphy.com/media/3og0IJD4VvwWc7ZepO/giphy.gif&width=200">

<img src="https://i.gifsonic.com/example/?src=https://media1.giphy.com/media/3og0IJD4VvwWc7ZepO/giphy.gif&text=Hello!&text_font_size=96&text_color=000000">

Read the docs to see all transformations you can apply to your image:
